Lean to roof gone!

The last few days have seen the last of the lean to roof removed, the cladding, windows and back door gone and the start of insulation and flooring in the old house!

Mr A has declared this his bedroom! He did want the room that once was kitchen, but has decided the old pergola area seemed more interesting. I asked him to pose for a photo in his new bedroom and the others joined in. It's great to see how excited they are with the progress. Every afternoon after school we go up for a look around and see what J and Trev have been up to :)

J has been busy insulating the sub floor with foil board and has put down half the yellow tongue flooring!

The famous hole in the ceiling ;)

I say famous because my dear friends on face book had to endure me bitching and moaning about how cold it made the place and how water leaked through the patched tin when the wind blew in a certain direction. I took loads of photos of everything but I couldn't find one of the hole in the ceiling for some strange reason.
Anyhow, the hole is from the chimney after the fire places were removed. I took this quick snap before Trev got to work pulling out the ceiling from the kitchen.
